Assembly Speaker Robin Vos said Thursday afternoon the University of Wisconsin Procedure “will in no way get an additional nickel out of the Legislature” except they lower range, fairness and inclusion (DEI) programming, a working day soon after a UW-Madison formal mentioned the college will not slice DEI positions.
Vos has vocally opposed DEI programming, contacting it racially divisive and terming universities with DEI systems “institute[s] of indoctrination.”

A spokesperson for the university was not quickly offered for remark.
